Description
The AT501 electromagnetic flow meter is a high-performance and highly reliable flow measurement instrument, mainly used to measure the volume flow of conductive media in closed pipelines. It plays a significant role in modern industries and is widely applied in petrochemicals, steel and metallurgy, water supply and drainage, electricity, food, and pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, coal,papermaking,etc.
The measurement principle of the electromagnetic flow meter is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction. It mainly consists of three parts: the sensor, the signal processor, and the display controller. When the conductive liquid being measured flows through the measuring tube of the flow meter, an induced electromotive force proportional to the average flow velocity of the liquid is generated. The electrodes detect this induced electromotive force and transmit it to the signal processor. After processing, the signal enables various display functions.
Features
1. The measurement is not affected by changes in fluid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and conductivity;
2. There are no flow-obstructing components inside the measuring tube, no pressure loss, and the requirement for straight pipe sections is relatively low. It has unique adaptability to slurry measurement;
3. By reasonably selecting the sensor liner and electrode materials, it has good corrosion and wear resistance;
4. The converter adopts a novel excitation method, featuring low power consumption, stable zero point and high accuracy;
5. It has a wide range of measurement, typically ranging from 10:1 to 100:1, precisely covering the wide range of measurement needs from very small flow to full pipe flow;
6. It is a bidirectional measurement system, equipped with three integrators: positive total, reverse total and total difference;
7. It offers multiple outputs forms: current 4-20mA, pulse, frequency,RS-485, HART;
8. The converter uses surface mount technology (SMT) and has self-check and self-diagnosis functions;
9.Not only for general processes, but also for the measurement of ore pulp, mud, coal slurry, paper pulp and paste liquid;
10.Explosion-proof instruments can be used in corresponding explosion-proof places.
